Solveigh Corporate Development acted as advisor to Direct Wonen on several acquisitions. Direct Wonen is a non traditional Dutch on- and offline residential property letting agent and a financial services intermediary.

Direct Wonen is listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange since May 2007. Direct Wonen enhanced its online strategy by acquiring the assets of Kamernet.nl.

Kamernet.nl is a market leader in the Netherlands. Subsequent to the acquisition Direct Wonen is expected to serve over 1 million house seekers. The Company enhanced its position in the market for expatriate housing by acquiring GIS Apartments B.V. in Amsterdam. GIS Apartments B.V. is a leading agent in private residential property lettings in the Amsterdam region. After expansion in the area of online services and services for expats Direct Wonen subsequently acquired a company active in relocation services. In addition, Solveigh originated the acquisition of a life insurance company which enables Direct Wonen to further expand its business.
