Expert Care is acquired by B.Braun, a global marketleader that offers innovative medical devices and services to the Healhcare Industry. ExpertCare is a company that has been constantly developing to make the impossible possible at home in healthcare. They provide specialized nursing at home to adults and children, they also offers specialized nursing ‘as at home as possible’ to children aged 0-18 years. Also, ExpertCare Academy offers new future-oriented education and training for healthcare.

Braun wants to position itself more strongly in the ambulatory care market in the Netherlands and Belgium. With the acquisition of the specialized home care organization ExpertCare, they are bringing in-house knowledge of the home care market. With this, B. Braun responds to the social development in which care increasingly takes place at home or outside the hospital.

ExpertCare and B. Braun have found each other through a shared vision on hospital-displaced care. By joining forces with B. Braun, ExpertCare will gain more knowledge and expertise about medical equipment, aids and services, enabling them to better serve their clients in their home situation and the childcare villas.

Both companies have been working together in developing services for several years. The infusion therapies that ExpertCare offers at home, in combination with B. Braun’s market position within the hospitals, offer many opportunities for the clients at home and the doctors in the hospital.

ExpertCare and B. Braun also reinforce each other in the field of dialysis. ExpertCare offers peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis at home.

ExpertCare Academy developed future-oriented nursing courses at NLQF level 6. This activity fits in perfectly with the training places within Elyse clinics for renal care for dialysis nurses and at Aesculap Academy for product training and seminars.
