Solveigh is pleased to announce that Amsterdam based Sevenstar Yacht Transport B.V. successfully acquired the activities of Dockwise Yacht Transport (DYT) from Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (Boskalis).

Transatlantic migration of luxury yachts

DYT’s core business is the transatlantic migration of luxury yachts between Florida, the Carribean and the Mediterranean. For Boskalis, these activities had no strategic value and did not fit with the group’s existing core business. Sevenstar Yacht Transport bought the DYT activities including 2 dedicated semi-submersible yacht transport vessels (Super Servant 4 and Yacht Express) for a total consideration of USD 40 million.
Maarten de Zeeuw of Solveigh Nederland, who acted as financial advisor to Sevenstar Yacht Transport, commented on the transaction: “This transaction made great strategic sense for all parties involved. We are happy we have been able to facilitate the matchmaking as well as an efficient execution of the transaction.”
