Independent Risk Solutions merged with Insure Direct Brokers

Rotterdam-based specialist insurance broker Independen Risk Solutions (IRS) has merged with Insure Direct Brokers LLC, a subsidiary of Dubai World. The new group has offices in Dubai, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Rotterdam and Malta. IRS is specialized in providing end-to-end insurance coverage to the marine, the oil- and gas sector and major on- and off-shore construction projects. In addition it is offering a wide variety of liability insurance policies. Insure Direct Brokers is a leading Dubai-based supplier of insurance brokerage services.

Combination of the operations of Insure Direct’s leading position in the Middle East and IRS’s strength in high-end and value added lines of business in the marine and energy-related industries in the Netherlands has created and global specialist in its markets which will be able to even better services its global clients.
